Table by Nyne launches month-long Mother’s Day high tea promotion in Colombo

Table by Nyne at Lake Lodge has launched a month-long promotion to mark Mother’s Day, offering complimentary high tea for mothers on Sundays throughout May.

The initiative begins on May 10 and will continue every Sunday during the month, allowing families to celebrate beyond a single day.

“We wanted to move beyond a single day and celebrate mothers throughout the month,” said Nayantara Fonseka, founder of Nyne Hotels.

The high tea menu features a mix of traditional and contemporary items, including classic sandwiches and scones alongside additions such as tacos and wagyu sliders.

The hotel said all items are prepared in-house, including accompaniments such as clotted cream and preserves, with a focus on freshness and presentation.

The promotion is part of a broader effort by the property to attract families and diners during the festive period.
