The Department of Meteorology says that heavy rains exceeding 100mm may occur in several parts of the island tomorrow (04).
Issuing a special statement on the current weather conditions, the department noted that this heavy rainfall may affect certain areas in two provinces and four districts.
Accordingly, heavy showers exceeding 100mm are likely in parts of the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces, as well as in the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara Eliya Districts.
