The Health Ministry in Gaza says the confirmed death toll from Israel’s genocidal war on the enclave has risen to 72,971 with 173,012 people wounded since October 7, 2023.
In its latest update, the ministry said hospitals across Gaza received 10 bodies and 36 injured people over the latest 24-hour reporting period.
Since the “ceasefire” took effect in October last year, Israeli attacks have killed 961 Palestinians and wounded 3,020 others, it said.
