IDEAS Business and Development Academy, one of Sri Lanka's leading consulting and training institutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Directive Communication International (DCi Consulting), represented by globally renowned organisational culture expert Arthur Carmazzi.

With more than 17 years of experience, IDEAS said the partnership marks a significant step towards strengthening workplace culture and leadership development in Sri Lanka.

Widely recognised as the "Culture Guru", Carmazzi is the pioneer of Directive Communication Psychology and the Brain Colours framework, methodologies that help organisations better understand how employees think, communicate and make decisions.

His work has been adopted by organisations worldwide to improve team dynamics, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement and overall business performance.

Under the partnership, IDEAS becomes the authorised licensed institution for DCi Consulting's methodologies in Sri Lanka.

The collaboration will introduce culture transformation programmes for organisations ranging from large corporates to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), while aiming to develop more than 500 certified local trainers and coaches to support long-term organisational development across the country.

The partnership will also focus on helping businesses engage the next generation of employees. Carmazzi's frameworks on Generation Z engagement and readiness for Generation Alpha are designed to help organisations attract young talent, embrace technology and build purpose-driven workplaces.

Chief Consultant of IDEAS Business and Development Academy Imran Nafeer said the partnership would help create stronger organisations through better workplace culture.

"We believe a better culture produces better people, and better people produce better results. Our aspiration is to create role-model organisations in Sri Lanka and take them to the world. This partnership with Arthur Carmazzi is the right step at the right time," he said.

IDEAS also announced plans to expand its operations regionally, identifying Myanmar and the Philippines as the next markets for its organisational culture transformation programmes.
