Many low lying areas in Mannar inundated (Photos)

The District Disaster Management Center stated that many low-lying areas in the Mannar District have been inundated due to adverse weather conditions.

The Disaster Management Center stated that many coastal low-lying areas have been inundated and in some places, houses have also been flooded.

The Center also stated that many low-lying areas in the Manthai West Divisional Secretariat Division and the Mannar Municipal Council area in the Mannar District have been inundated.

The Disaster Management Center stated that relief services are being provided to the people affected by the floods.
