St. Peter's College, Bambalapitiya celebrated its 100th anniversary today.
A commemorative stamp as well as a new school logo were unveiled for the occasion under the patronage of the Director of the College, Rev Fathers, Teachers and students.
A simple ceremony was organized for the occasion and many people including alumni were present.
St. Peter's College was established in 1922 as a branch of St. Joseph's College, Maradana.
Today there are 4,300 students in the college and Peter's children have made a name for themselves internationally in education as well as sports.
