Nimali Perera makes history as on field umpire in ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final

Sri Lankan umpire Nimali Perera has made history by becoming the first Sri Lankan female to serve as a on field umpire in a cricket World Cup final.

She officiated in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup final held in Dubai, alongside New South Wales umpire Claire Polosak, marking both their debuts in the prestigious final.
