The Department of Census and Statistics announced the successful completion of the 15th Population and Housing Census in Sri Lanka. Director General Anoja Seneviratne confirmed that the preliminary report will be submitted to the President within a month.
In addition to the preliminary findings, a comprehensive report is expected to be submitted within six months. The census, which began on October 7th, aimed to collect data on all persons and households across the country.
