NAWALAPITIYA CHAIRMAN PLEDGES TO TRANSFORM CITY IN FOUR YEARS

Amal Priyankara, the newly appointed Chairman of the Nawalapitiya Urban Council, has pledged to transform Nawalapitiya into an attractive and developed city within the next four years, with the cooperation of all stakeholders.

He shared these plans during a special discussion with Hiru News, outlining the council's future direction.

Nawalapitiya, a city nestled in a picturesque environment within the Kandy District of the Central Province, spans approximately 262 square kilometres and comprises nine electoral divisions.
