A group of foreign tourists waiting to travel from Nanu Oya to Ella railway stations showcased a unique response to a nearly two-hour delay of the 'Podi Menike' train, which was travelling from Colombo to Badulla today.
Our correspondent reported that due to a technical fault, the train was delayed by about two hours.
After the Nanu Oya Station Master informed them of the delay, all the foreign tourists gathered on one side of the platform and began singing and dancing until the train arrived.

The 'Podi Menike' train, which was scheduled to arrive at Nanu Oya Station at 2:55 PM today(17), eventually arrived at 4:55 PM.
Our correspondent noted that the group of tourists happily boarded the train and continued their journey to their destination.
