Foreign Minister meets Swedish Ambassador

Foreign Minister Vijith Herath held a meeting with Sweden's Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Jaan Thesleff, who is resident in New Delhi, at the Ministry yesterday.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister informed the Swedish Ambassador about the progress achieved by the government over the past year.

Discussions also focused on measures to develop the tourism sector.

Minister Herath specifically requested the Ambassador to inform Swedish businesses about the new investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka.
