The government is preparing to sign agreements with India for 33 projects in the Eastern Province.
These projects will be implemented under a grant from India, amounting to Rs. 2.3 billion, as part of India's multi-sectoral grants program.
Cabinet approval has been granted for the signing of the relevant agreements.
The agreements are expected to be signed by the Indian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka and the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration.
