The Hiru Daruwo 2025 special children's programme, an unforgettable experience presented by the Hiru Media Network for World Children's Day, commenced today at 1 PM at the Samanala Grounds in Galle.
The festival, a delightful collection of games and entertainment programmes, is designed to enhance the enjoyment of children and celebrate their talents.
Children arriving from all over the island can partake in this wonderful experience.
Today's programme features opportunities for children to enjoy music from two bands, as well as watch muppet shows, magic shows, and circus performances.
Young attendees will also get the chance to spend time and have fun with their favourite cartoon characters.
Additionally, selected artwork from the island-wide Hiru TV painting competition, organised for World Children's Day, will be on display at the event.
