Weapons and drugs seized from 'Backoe Saman's' brother-in-law's house

Police have reported the discovery of a micro pistol, a magazine, a quantity of ammunition, and heroin at the residence of the brother-in-law of alleged underworld figure "Backoe Saman".

Police said that 555 grams of heroin were recovered during the operation.

The illicit items were found at the suspect's house in Welipitiya, Middeniya.

This seizure follows the earlier arrest of "Backoe Saman's" brother-in-law, who is alleged to have coordinated the criminal's operations within Sri Lanka.
