Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that the current government is laying the fundamental groundwork to position the country for the place it should be in the next decade.
The Prime Minister made this comment yesterday (October 4) in Matale while addressing a programme aimed at educating teachers about the new educational reforms.
Meanwhile, discussions on the new educational reforms were also held yesterday at the Colombo District Convention of the Pre-school Teachers Professionals' Association.
