A Sri Lankan delegation is scheduled to depart today (October 5) to attend the Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC) in Barbados.
The conference will take place from October 5 to 12 and will focus on discussing significant global issues.
The Sri Lankan delegation will be led by Minister Saroja Savithri Paulraj, who is also the Chairperson of the Women Parliamentarians' Caucus.
The delegation includes Members of Parliament Sugath Vasantha de Silva and Sagarika Athauda, along with several other members representing both the government and the opposition parties.
The delegation will also include the Secretary General of Parliament, Kushani Rohanadeera.
The CPC is an annual conference organised by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA).
