All schools in the Central Province will remain closed starting tomorrow (19) following a decision prompted by adverse weather conditions.
Central Province Governor Professor Sarath Abeykoon and provincial education authorities reached this conclusion during a discussion held today (18).
Under this directive, schools will also observe a holiday on December 22.
Education Secretary of the Central Province, Madhupani Piyasena, stated that schools are scheduled to reopen on December 29 after the planned Christmas break.
