24-hour water cut for parts of Colombo district

A 24-hour water disruption will affect several areas in the Colombo district starting tonight (02) at 8:00 PM. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board informed residents of the scheduled interruption via SMS alerts to ensure prior notice.

This service restriction originates from the Padukka area and remains in effect for a full day. Authorities implemented these measures to reduce the operational pressure currently placed on the Kalatuwawa and Labugama reservoirs.
