Illicit underground distillery raided

Officers from the Chilaw Division Anti-Narcotics Unit raided an illegal underground liquor distillery operating in the Katukenda area of Dankotuwa. During the operation, authorities arrested two suspects along with 400 bottles of illicit liquor and a stockpile of raw materials, including goda.

The Chilaw Division Anti-Narcotics Unit is conducting further investigations into the matter.
