The Colombo High Court ordered the postponement of the verdict for four cases filed by the Bribery Commission against former Deputy Minister Sarana Gunawardena until May 26.
Colombo High Court Judge Mohammed Mihail was originally scheduled to deliver the judgment today (30).
However, the judge announced that the delivery of the verdict for these cases will now take place on May 26.
The Bribery Commission filed these four cases against Sarana Gunawardena, alleging that he caused a loss to the government while serving as the Chairman of the National Lotteries Board in 2006 during the procurement of vehicles on a rental basis.
