Commemorating the late President Ranasinghe Premadasa

The ceremony took place near the Ranasinghe Premadasa statue in Hulftsdorp, Colombo.

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and former First Lady Hema Premadasa attended the event, where she was observed becoming emotional.

Ranasinghe Premadasa, a president who left an indelible mark on the country's political landscape as the 'small man who did big work', lost his life 33 years ago on 1st May 1993.
