The National Transport Commission announced that bus fares will not be increased despite the rise in fuel prices. The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation decided to raise prices for all types of fuel yesterday.
According to an official statement from the corporation, this price revision took effect from midnight yesterday. Lanka IOC and Sinopec also confirmed today that they would adjust their prices to match the revisions made by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation for Octane 92 petrol and auto diesel. Prices for other categories of fuel remain unchanged.
