Additional fertiliser subsidy for small tea estate owners

A decision was made to provide an additional fertiliser subsidy to small tea estate owners this year.

The Treasury allocated Rs. 2,500 million for this purpose, with the distribution of the subsidy scheduled to begin at the end of this month.

Minister of Plantations and Community Infrastructure Samantha Vidyaratne shared these details during a press conference held in Colombo today (11).
