A moving three-wheeler suddenly caught fire, the Gampola police stated.

The vehicle caught fire whilst in motion in the Gampola area this morning (16).

The police and local residents intervened to control the fire, and no one sustained injuries.

Reports indicate that a technical defect in the vehicle caused the fire.
