Two workers sustained injuries and were hospitalised after a section of a five-storey commercial building collapsed in Kandy Cross Street.
The victims were admitted to the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital following the incident, which occurred this afternoon, according to police.
The incident occurred when a concrete section on the second floor of the building collapsed.
The injured individuals are residents of Hasalaka and Dehiattakandiya.
