Sugeeshwara Bandara, the former private secretary to former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, was brought to the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court this morning.
Prison officers transported him to the court premises in a prison bus.
The suspect remained in remand custody from the 18th until today.
The case related to the incident is scheduled to be called up.
