Aswesuma allowance to be credited tomorrow

Under the first phase of the Aswesuma Welfare Benefit Scheme, the Welfare Benefits Board announced that Rs. 3,125.6 million will be credited to bank accounts tomorrow (29) as the monthly elderly allowance for 625,128 beneficiaries aged over 70 years.
In addition, under the second phase of the programme, Rs. 368.315 million will also be credited this month as the elderly allowance for 73,663 beneficiaries aged over 70 years, the Board added.
