Post-mortem examination of the victims who died in the fire at the 'Senehase Kedella' elders' care home in Batagoda, Horana, is launched.
Police said that post-mortem examinations for one death conducted yesterday (05).
And the inquest for the remaining victims was postponed to today (06) as relatives of the deceased could not be contacted.
Meanwhile, another victim who had been receiving treatment in the hospital died yesterday, bringing the death toll to 13.
A hospital spokesperson stated that six others, four women and two men, are still receiving treatment at the Horana Base Hospital.
