A woman in possession of a stock of counterfeit US dollar notes valued at over 190 million rupees was arrested at a house in the Wellampitiya area. Police stated this regarding the arrest.
This counterfeit note stock was discovered during a raid conducted based on special information received by the officers of the Colombo Central Crime Investigation Bureau.
