Youth dies from electrocution at vehicle service centre

Ruwanwella Police report that an 18-year-old youth died following electrocution at a vehicle service centre in Batupitiya, Ruwanwella.

The youth, who worked at the centre, suffered an electric shock due to a power leak while cleaning a three-wheeler.

Although he was rushed to the Karawanella Hospital, he was already deceased upon arrival.

Ruwanwella Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
