Showers forecast across multiple provinces and districts

Rain is expected across the Western, Sabaragamuwa, and North-western provinces, as well as the Galle, Matara, Kandy, and Nuwara-Eliya districts.

Light showers may also affect the Anuradhapura district.

Strong winds reaching speeds of 40 to 50 kilometres per hour are likely at times over the western slopes of the central hills, Northern, North-central, and North-western provinces, and in the Hambantota and Trincomalee districts.
