Sihina Dilsara, a primary suspect in the shooting incident involving an attorney and his wife outside a supermarket in Akuregoda, was arrested in the Maldives and brought back to Sri Lanka.
A special team from the Sri Lankan Police escorted him through Bandaranaike International Airport last evening.
The 23-year-old suspect, a resident of Etkandura, Batapola, Galle, allegedly served as the driver of the vehicle used by the shooters.
After Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers recorded his statement at the airport, he was handed over to the Western Province South Crimes Division for investigations.
