The new Thambutthegama Water Supply Project will be officially commissioned to public benefit today (10) by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The Presidential Media Division (PMD) stated that the project spans across serving 42 Grama Niladhari divisions and will benefit 91,810 individuals.
Under this initiative, 25,000 new water connections will also be provided.
Meanwhile, the construction work for the second phase of the Anuradhapura North Water Supply Project is also scheduled to be inaugurated by the President today at the Kebithigollewa water supply premises.
