Gates of the Kumana National Park were opened this morning (10) for the Pada Yatra, the traditional foot pilgrimage which is conducted concurrently with the historic Ruhunu Maha Kataragama Devalaya's Esala Perahera.
Accordingly, our correspondent stated that a large number of devotees obtained blessings from the Okanda Devalaya this morning and commenced their pilgrimage through the Kumana National Park.
