A total of 4,292 dengue patients were reported from Sri Lanka in the past 9 days of August, the National Dengue Control Unit stated.
Accordingly, 89,639 dengue patients were reported islandwide during the year so far, while the number of deaths stands at 65.
The highest percentage of patients, accounting for 21.27% of the total cases, was reported from the Gampaha District, with that number standing at 19,067.
