Recruitment begins for 8 paramedical service courses

Recruitment of students for 08 paramedical service courses for 2026 commenced, the Department of Health announced.

Gazette notification number 2501 relevant to it was issued on 07 August 2026, the Department of Health mentioned.

Accordingly, individuals who passed the Advanced Level examination in Biology or Physical Science streams (obtaining 03 Ordinary Passes as minimum qualification) relevant to the years 2019 (new and old syllabuses), 2020 (new and old syllabuses), 2021, 2022, and 2023 can apply for this, the Ministry of Health stated.

The 08 positions for which recruitments are conducted for this training are Public Health Inspector, Dental Technician, Prosthetist and Orthotist, Health Entomology Officer, School Dental Therapist, Electrocardiograph Technician, Pharmacist, and Electroencephalograph Recording Officer.

However, basic qualifications differ according to each position, the Ministry of Health pointed out.

The closing date to accept applications is August 31, the Ministry of Health mentioned.
