Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC has entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement with ACME Printing and Packaging PLC to acquire a factory property in Piliyandala for Rs. 630 million.
In a disclosure to the Colombo Stock Exchange under Section 8.1 of the Listing Rules, the company said the agreement was executed on April 28, 2026.
The property, bearing Assessment No. 345 on Gonamadiththa Road, Piliyandala, currently serves as the factory premises of ACME Printing and Packaging PLC.
Singer said the acquisition has been made for the purpose of expanding its local manufacturing operations.
