Rain delays toss in SL vs ENG T20 opener

Heavy rain at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium has forced a delay in the start of the first T20 International between Sri Lanka and England tonight.

The inclement weather prevented the toss from taking place at the scheduled time of 6:30 PM.

Ground staff remain on standby to clear the surface, though the match was originally set to begin at 7:00 PM local time.
