40 persons from Borella Police quarantined

After a group of Police officers attached to the Borella Police Station has been diagnosed with coronavirus, 40 persons, including the Police OIC have been directed to Kundasale Quarantine Center.

A senior police officer in charge of the area stated that officers from other police stations have been called to cover the duties at the Borella Police Station.

Meanwhile, the Department of Motor Traffic stated that from tomorrow (11), the services provided by the Head Office of the Department will be facilitated through the Hambantota, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Kurunegala and Gampaha District Offices.

The Department of Government Information stated that the Werahera office will be re-opened from tomorrow with a limited staff. To obtain the relevant services, date and time must be reserved in advance.
