Secretary of the Northern Province Ministry of Education, Attorney-at-Law L. Ilangovan has announced that all schools in the Valikamam and Jaffna Education Zones in the Jaffna District will be closed until further notice.
He said the decision was taken after discussions with education officials on the advice of the Northern Provincial Director of Health Services.
Uduvil and Tellippalai schools in the Valikamam education zone were closed yesterday following reports of Covid -19.
