Thirappane technicians launch 7th annual mechanical service dansala

The mechanical service dansal, organised for the seventh time by a group of technicians in Thirappane, commenced at 8:00 am today.

The mechanical service dansal restores vehicles that break down belonging to devotees arriving to worship at the Anuradhapura, Mihintale, and Thanthirimale sacred sites.

A recovery vehicle was also allocated this year to bring any broken-down vehicle from any area to the dansal, marking a special feature of this year's event.
