Hiru FM from strength to strength with our listeners for 24 years (Video)

Today (01) marks the 24th glorious anniversary of Hiru FM, the channel that ushered in a breath of fresh air to the media in Sri Lanka.

A revolutionary and leading radio station was born in Sri Lanka on July 1, 1998, and during the journey 'Hiru FM' has won the hearts of listeners all across the Island.

Along with its anniversary, according to a concept of Rayynor Silva, the chairman of the Asia Broadcasting Corporation Private limited (ABC Network), the largest media network in Sri Lanka, arrangements have been made to donate one million worth of dry ration packs through the month of July starting from today containing essential food items to those going through economic hardships.

In addition to this program, Hiru listeners have the opportunity to tune into a music concert accompanied by many popular singers from 10 am this morning through the Hiru radio channel.

Kurunegala 'Asha' and Seeduwa 'Brave' bands, two popular bands in the country, will provide music for this concert.
