The vessel is making a stop for replenishment purposes, and the Sri Lanka Navy officially welcomed the visiting ship in accordance with naval traditions.
The 154-metre-long destroyer is commanded by Commander Paul Richardson.
The ship is scheduled to depart the island once it has fulfilled its necessary resupply requirements.
