
The Police Headquarters has announced that the online system for applying for Police Clearance reports is currently experiencing a breakdown due to a technical issue.
In a statement, the Police Media Division expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to applicants.
The full statement released by the Police Headquarters is as follows:
"The application for Police Clearance Reports is conducted exclusively via the online method. As of the early hours of today, October 10, 2025, this system has experienced a breakdown due to a technical fault.
Work is currently underway to restore the system, and the Sri Lanka Police regrets the inconvenience caused to applicants.
Notice will be given immediately upon the system's full restoration."
