The government incurred no financial loss due to the delay in implementing Grade 6 education reforms, Prime Minister and Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya informed Parliament yesterday (3).
The session also saw heated debates regarding the suspension of Chaminda Kularatne, who served as the Deputy Secretary General of Parliament.
Separately, Justice Minister Attorney Harshana Nanayakkara clarified that the Residents Protection Bill will not disadvantage parties who rent out housing units.
