Person hospitalised after being found with gunshot wounds

A 28-year-old resident of Hanthana is receiving treatment at the Kandy National Hospital after being discovered with gunshot wounds in the Gohagoda area of Katugastota.

Police state that the individual serves as a cleaning supervisor at the same hospital.

Family members began a search for the man after he failed to return home after leaving yesterday afternoon.

He was subsequently discovered lying on the road with injuries from the shooting.
