Vijay leading in 71 constituencies

The counting of votes for the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election is currently underway.

As of 9:20 AM, out of the 158 constituencies where trends have emerged, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) led by Vijay is leading in 71 seats.

The Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) led by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin is leading in 48 seats.

In third place is the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) led by Edappadi K. Palaniswami.
