Over Rs. 40 million worth of narcotics seized

Two suspects were apprehended by the Police Narcotic Bureau during a special raid in the Wellampitiya area.

Authorities recovered a stock of ICE and Heroin valued at more than Rs. 40 million during the operation.

The total weight of the seized drugs amounted to nearly 2 kilograms at the time of the arrest.
