The Department of Irrigation says that the water level of Kuda Ganga, a tributary of the Kalu River, has risen to a level that requires close attention due to the prevailing rainy conditions.

Chief Engineer of the Department’s Hydrology and Disaster Management Division, Chamara Yapa Arachchi, stated that residents living in low-lying areas near the Kelani, Gin, and Nilwala rivers, as well as the Attanagalu Oya, should remain vigilant regarding rising water levels.
