Minor flood warnings issued for low-lying areas near Kalu Ganga

A minor flood situation may develop within the next 24 hours in the low-lying areas of the Ingiriya, Horana, Dodangoda, Millaniya, Kalutara, Bulathsinhala, Madurawela, and Palindanuwara areas, the Department of Irrigation says.

This situation arises due to rainfall received in the catchment areas of the Kalu Ganga basin.
